Errata slip and folding map of Treaty No. 8 are present. Moisture stain to the bottom edge, more so to the boards and then less so to the… first and last number of pages. Boards are gently rubbed and bumped to extremities. Bright gilt titles to spine. Red, block stamped rules to the front board with fresh photographic labels laid in with bold gilt titles. Mair was English Secretary of the Half-breed Commission and documented David Lairds Athabasca and Peace River Treaty Expedition of1899 which included… a map of the country ceded and numerous photographs of Native life and scenery.
