Add to basketA scarce first edition with text both in English and French . 9.75" x 6.00". pp.47 . Plain maroon buckram boards. Endpapers lightly foxed. Original card cover with printed title inserted before actual title-page. A label has been removed from the verso of the card cover leaving some glue residue. The first printed title-page is in English. The second title in French occurs after p.31. repeating the description in French (but not all of the illustrations. Clean throughout with many black & white illustrations. Last leaf with colophon: "Printed By William Gate Limited, 147-150, Great Saffron Hill, London, E.C.1." Followed by the original rear card cover. VG.
