To celebrate their 25th anniversary in 1926, they published a limited edition book honoring the projects completed and men who lead the company. Book is illustrated…by tipped-in historic photographs. The construction company is known for building a series of bridges and tunnels which formed transportation infrastructure in the American Westward expansion. They pioneered use of steel and concrete to replace brick and wood. Expertise in those materials allowed them to build power plants, both coal and hydro-electric. Not all projects were revolutionary and performed in the wilderness. In Cleveland, a bridge was replaced while still in use! During WWI, an Army camp was built within 3 months. They were the company that constructed Sears and Roebuck's manufactured housing plant. This copy is labeled #1222 of the 3000 limited edition. There was only one print-run.
