A good copy but with wear to the cover edges and bending at the corner tips. The front cover has a bit of a lift. The interior is clean and unmarked and the binding is solid without creasing. 482 pp., some black and white photos at rear. A collection of Bert Rokey's letters from the South Pacific in World War II and the realities of rationing at home in Sabetha, Kansas. Rokey was part of the 24 Infantry Division, 34th Regiment - the Leyte Dragons.
