Mounted blue paper on the front free endpaper, showing ownership of Jared Sparks, a Member of the Academy. Jared Sparks (1789-1866) was an American historian, educator, Unitarian Minister and President of Harvard College from 1849 to 1853. Covers show worn corners, rubbed edges, peeling leather. Interior shows a lower inner corner damp mark [light], not affecting any text. Solo volume I. [4], 21pp, [3], 16pp, 24pp con una lastra tipografica, [1], 34pp, [2], con una lastra tipografica, 44pp, [2], lastra tipografica di conchiglie, 8pp, lastra tipografica, 16pp, 20pp, lastra pieghevole, 47pp, [1], 56pp, [2], 22pp, 16pp, rilegato in pelle tre quarti e carta marmorizzata, fasce in rilievo sul dorso, risguardi marmorizzati, rilegatura e cerniere strette. Carta blu montata sul risguardo anteriore libero, che mostra la proprietà di Jared Sparks, un membro dell'Accademia. Jared Sparks (1789-1866) è stato uno storico americano, educatore, ministro unitario e presidente dell'Harvard College dal 1849 al 1853. Le copertine mostrano angoli usurati, bordi sfregati, pelle scrostata. L'interno presenta un leggero segno di umidità nell'angolo inferiore interno, che non compromette il testo.
