L'analisi documentale ha permesso di ottenere dati demografici e caratteristiche. Prevalgono le pazienti con sovrappeso-obesità e normoglicemia. Non è stata riscontrata alcuna associazione tra un elevato IMC e lo stato di menopausa al momento della diagnosi. Il sovrappeso-obesità era associato allo stadio della malattia nelle donne in postmenopausa e rappresentava un fattore protettivo in relazione al tipo di recettore estrogenico del tumore nelle donne in premenopausa.

Foi realizada uma pesquisa observacional-analítica e tr…ansversal com 155 pacientes com câncer de mama diagnosticado em 2019 em Pinar del Río. A análise documental permitiu-nos obter dados demográficos e características. Predominaram pacientes com sobrepeso-obesidade e normoglicemia. Não foi encontrada associação entre IMC elevado e estado menopausal no momento do diagnóstico. O excesso de peso e obesidade foi associado ao estádio da doença nas mulheres pós-menopáusicas e representou um factor de protecção em relação ao tipo de receptor de estrogénio tumoral nas mulheres pré-menopáusicas.
