Contents, 24 pages of repeated lines to improve his handwriting inc. sentences, and of repeated numbers. Condition good for age some minor dirt, as hand written in ink some seeping through paper, easier to read than scans, at least one page watermarked by paper maker "J Whatman 1861" 1861 is when the paper was made. This is for just one book from a Collection of hand written / manuscript school books of Thomas Tyler of Masbro / Masbrough, Rotherham Yorkshire 1856-1861 which are being sold individually. The key book has to inside front cover " Thos Tyler, Fisham Terrace, Masbro, near Rotherham" so from a quick net check Masbro is short for Masbrough and was near Rotherham in 1856, but now is part of Rotherham. Rotherham, Yorkshire originally the West Riding of Yorkshire ,in the north of England It seems the Tyler family had a Thomas Tyler with numerous children, who's father was Thomas Tyler and named a son Thomas Tyler. I found a Thomas Tyler born 1816, possibly the father of Thomas, also found the Tylers of Sheffield a tobacconist shop in Sheffield owned by Frederick Tyler and son of Thomas Tyler a tobacconist, who may have been this Thomas Tyler. I also found a Thomas Tyler whom brought his family to Syracuse, NY where they settled and Thomas died 1908 in Syracuse, New York. But as a number of the Tyler family are named Thomas Tyler not 100% sure it was this Thomas who died in America or his son or another family member. Please email for full list. Size: 19.5 x 22.5cm Approx. Manuscript.…
