Esemplare completo con poche ossidazioni, ben rilegato. Nuovo volgarizzamento di questa cronaca della conquista di Gerusalemme fatta dai primi Crociati, scritta da Ruberto, monaco del Monastero di S. Remigio di Reims, vissuto a cavallo tra l'XI ed il XII secolo. Un volgarizzamento opera del Baldelli era gia' apparso nel 1552, per i tipi del Torrentino a Firenze; questa nuova versione e' opera di Sebastiano Ciampi, il dotto storico e letterato pistoiese, adattando lo stile italiano antico, come piu' conforme all'originale.

Si tratta di una cronaca della presa di Gerusalemme fatta da un Monaco di San Remigio di Reims, Ruberto, pubblicata la prima volta a Firenze nel 1552 dal Torrentino per la versione di Francesco Baldelli. Si vuole che da essa traesse spunto il Tasso per il suo capolavoro. Ruberto fu allievo di Erimaro, cui nel 1094 successe alla guida del Monastero suddetto.
