Druck auf Anfrage Neuware - Printed after ordering - Unser erstes eigenes Boot war eine H-Jolle, mit der wir ab 1976 viele Fahrten auf der Elbe und einige Male auch Urlaub auf der Ostsee machten.Mit den Kindern wuchsen auch unsere Boote, unser nächstes war ein 16ner Jollenkreuzer, ein schönes Schiff, mit Kajüte, Kocher und Außenbordmotor. Jetzt waren auch Touren bis Cuxhaven möglich. Der große Nachteil des Jollenkreuzers: Er war nicht kentersicher und die vielen Korrosionsschäden des Stahlrumpfes waren kaum noch reparabel.Zwei Saisons hatten wir den Jollenkreuzer, dann kauften wir unsere erste größere Yacht, eine acht Meter lange 'Sneekermeer`'. Dieses sehr seetüchtige Boot war von seinem Vorbesitzer mehrere Jahre für eine weite Reise umgebaut worden. Als alles fertig war, stellte er fest, dass das Boot zu klein für seine Pläne war. Für uns war die 'Sneekermeer' gerade richtig, unsere Kinder waren noch klein und uns kam das Boot riesig groß vor. Dass es nicht gut segelte, störte uns damals nicht. Unsere weitesten Fahrten führten uns nach Helgoland und Prerow, wo wir im Jahr der Wende im Sommerurlaub hinfuhren. Durch Zufall fanden wir die 'Loliti', eine knapp 9 ½ Meter lange C&C aus Glasfaser verstärktem Kunststoff. Dieses schöne und sehr schnelle Boot haben wir seit fast 20 Jahren. Seit einigen Jahren ist der ehemals weiße Rumpf 'Navy Blue'. Das Unterwasserschiff wurde saniert und komplett neu aufgebaut.Seit wir neue Segel haben, gehören wir zu den schnellsten Schiffen auf der Unterelbe. Wie alles begann - es wird konkretSehr gerne haben wir die Berichte von Weltumseglern und anderen Abenteurern gelesen, selber so eine Reise zu unternehmen, erschien viele Jahre nicht vorstellbar. Es sah so aus, dass der Wunsch einmal einen Ozean zu überqueren, nur ein Traum bleiben würde.Bis zum Sommer 2010. Da saßen Florian, mittlerweile erwachsen und Bootsbaumeister, und ich in einem netten Fischlokal in der Hafencity von Cuxhaven und beschlossen spontan im Juli 2011 eine Atlantiktour zu unternehmen. Abreisedatum: Montag d. 4. Juli 2011, zwei Tage nach Angelikas Geburtstag.Unsere Familie wurde recht bald von unserem Vorhaben informiert, ernst genommen wurden wir jedoch nicht.Über die Anschaffung eines größeren Schiffes haben wir nicht nachgedacht, wir waren von der Seetüchtigkeit unserer 'Loliti' überzeugt, für uns beide ist sie auch groß genug .
