Three anonymous love poems, the most successful and longest of which is Le Paradis D'Amour which describes a shepherd, struck by Cupid, who falls for a girl who is too young, a nymph who he rejects, and then that same Nymph who has been reincarnated by Circe but who then rebuffs him. Like Froissart's famous medieval poem by the same name, the poem is largely centered around a dream. Provenance: A. Van Loock (stamp on endpaper) Size: duodecimo (12mo). Quantity Available: 1.
