Thick, heavy octavo (8vo), top exterior page edges gilt, maps on endpapers. FORMER LIBRARY BOOK, but Very Good nevertheless. Heavy-duty cloth binding. Wear and tear to the cloth at the top of the spine, very occasional, slight wear along the board edges and at the corner tips. Cloth binding shows very little wear otherwise, gilt lettering to front still clean and bright. Gilt lettering to spine slightly dulled from age, but still quite legible. Internally Near Fine condition, pages lightly age-toned but otherwise without any defects. The book is quite clean and stain-free, square and straight, still very firm and tight in its binding, no pages are loose, torn, folded, creased, or missing. The hinges are sound and undamaged, the corners are unbumped. All pages are clean and stain free, and all text and photos are sharp and legible. Aside from any library markings, there is no writing, underlining, highlighting, or other such markings anywhere in the book. NOTE: Ex-library book, please expect library markings and indicia.
