Kanten berieben u. bestoßen, erste 2 Seiten gelöst) Mit sehr seltenen u. interessanten Aufnahmen aus Neuguinea, Samoa, Jaluit, Lord Howe Inseln, Marshallinseln, Cooktown, Pago Pago, Matupi u.a. - Teils mit einkopiertem Titel oder Datum. - Photographien teils vergilbt oder verblasst, stellenweise gewellt von Montur, vereinzelt leicht lädiert. Insgesamt seltene Aufnahmen in zufriedenstellendem Zustand. Collection of 72 original photographs, vintages, silver gelatin prints from a journey to New Guinea, 1896. Mounted in album with gilded title (edges and corners rubbed and bumped, spine missing, front cover and first 2 pages loose). - With interesting and rare pictures from New Guinea, Samoa, Jaluit, Lord Howe Islands, Marshallislands, Cooktown, Pago Pago, Matupi, and others. - Partly with copied inserted title. - Photographs partly yellowed or faded, partly wavy due to mounting, occasionally with slight blemishes. Altgether rare photographs in satisfying condition.
