Soft cover. Condition: Very Good. Frankfurt, 1971. TLS (typed letter, signed) and 6 3/8" by 4 1/8" black and white photo, both signed, from aviation author and active organizer Wilhelm Sachsenberg. Letter is folded and in Very Good condition, photograph is in Near Fine condition. Sachsenberg is shown next to an unidentified aircraft in the photo (see scan). The letter is typed on the letterhead of Deutsche Aero Club E.V. and is dated 19 Mai 1971. Sachsenberg, whose title underneath his signature is Ehrenvorsitzenderder Motoflugkommission des DAeC (basically, Honorary Chairman of the Motorized Flight Commission of the Deutsch Aero Club), was the author of, among other titles, "Hermann Koehl: Unser Ozeanflug (Our Ocean Flight)", the story of the successful 1928 crossing of the Atlantic in 1928 of Hermann Koehl and crew in a Junkers W33, after a 1927 effort had failed.
