Book
Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. Ken Howard, no place, 2005, #19 of 30 copies. Illustrated with a single quarter-page illustration. 6" x 9.5". Color illustrated white paper covered boards. 10 pages, printed on one side of the leaf. This is an amateur publication, in a rough but serviceable binding. The text is reproduced by photocopy and while legible, it is a bit difficult to read. "This is a facsimile reprint of the original article which first appeared in the ?Atlantic Monthly?, August, 1875". The only other edition of this title that I know of is that published by Charles Wood, 1997, in a beautifully produced leatherbound limited edition, priced at $2,750. ".a charming and little known essay by Dean Sage, his first published writing on salmon fishing. The subject of this lively essay was his first salmon fishing trip.on the Restigouche." (Wood). An inexpensive alternative to the fine Charles Wood edition. Very good.
