Printed snipe, provenance label, and ink annotations regarding cropping on the verso. Based on Laurens van der Post's 1963 novel "The Seed and the Sower," about Post's experiences as a prisoner of war during World War II. An international co-production, ultimately shot with parts in both English and Japanese. Shot in Auckland, New Zealand. 10 x 8 inches. About Fine. Criterion Collection 535.
