Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. Dust Jacket Condition: Very Good. 1st Edition. First Thus--First U.S. Edition. VG 4to (11" tall x 9-1/4") hardcover with VG- dj. Slightly cocked spine with fine black boards. Ex-libris blind stamp and ink date on the pale yellow ffep, but the remaining contents including the 300 monochrome illustrations and 5 maps are clean and otherwise fine. Unclipped dj ($30 until 12/31/87) has lamination scuffing that is markedly more pronounced on the lower cover, but no tears or heavy creasings.
