Hardcover. Condition: Good. Cracking to the rear paste-down, some bruising to bottom tips, bumping to spine head and foot, mottling at rear panel head near spine, else a sturdy, attractive, tightly bound, internally clean hardcover copy; not ex-library, with neither highlighting nor underlining. Oversized hardcover format, bound in original publisher's blue-green cloth, gilt lettering and ruling to covers and spine, rubbed a bit but still distinctive. Apparent First Edition, but not so stated; title page and half-title both say 1924. Thirty lovely illustrations including near frontis, in full, glorious color, of ant royalty perhaps on stage, perhaps at a convention, tissue-protected. The remainder are heads, tails and initials, whimsical and loving. 121 pp.Member, I.O.B.A., C.B.A., and adherent to the highest ethical standards. Additional postage may be required for oversize or especially heavy volumes, and for sets.
