Lists records by category (new releases, by composer, opera, ballet, folk, artist, jazz, etc.). Also includes a commentary column, this one titled "Needle Scratch" by Abner Levin. Catalog illustrated with whimsical b/w drawings, plus vintage ads for 'record players', chart of 'needle' types, speakers, new releases by label, etc. Front cover illustrated with picture of Robert Schumann (June 8, 1810 - July 29, 1859). Measures 5.5 " x 8.5" with 130 pages. One small corner on front cover has been repaired by prior owner, otherwise, other than browning due to age, item is in excellent condition.
