Racconto in lingua inglese, con numerose citazioni in italiano, parla di una gita in località inesistenti ma italiane, per es. da "Leccio" a "Bocca di Grassa". In-8° (cm. 21,4x14,2). Bross, edit., menda presso una cuffia, ma ben cucito. MANN BORGESE, figlia di Thomas Mann, tedesca naturalizzata USA dopo aver lasciato la Germania a causa di Hitler, nel 1939 sposò l'antifascista italiano e scrittore Giuseppe Antonio Borgese (1882-1952), 36 anni più anziano di lei, da cui ebbe due figlie. Biologa marina. Cittadina onoraria di Palermo e di Polizzi Generosa, città del marito. Il fasc. è completo e contiene inoltre: 1) Saggi si Folco Portinari su PARINI, di Giuliano Innamorati (L'ipotesi della poesia), di Bonaventura Tecchi su TIECK, una poesia di Gian Carlo ARTONI. 2) Recensioni e critiche varie.
