Soft cover. Condition: Good. (ALASKA) Scheall, Everett. Modern Alaska, a Treatise of Facts and Figures Compiled in Plain, Comprehensive Language. Self-published. 1937. 11.5"x8.5", mimeographed on newsprint. Stiff-ish wrappers, cloth spine. 36 lvs (printed on one side only), folding map, several (unpaginated) full page illustrations by the author. [++] Provenance: Library of Congress Pamphlet Collection, with a small rubber stamp on upper right corner of cover and the LC surplus rubber stamp on the interior . Also comes with a carbon copy of a LC card catalog card. [++] Condition: there is some bumping around the edges of the covers as they are a little too long for the text and so sustained some modest wear. The image on the front cover is also fadedit was printed in gold-colored ink on deep red, which made it difficult to see under the best condition. Also there is a square half-inch or so chip out of the upper right corner of pp 19-36this is all in the margin and doesn't come close to affecting any text. GOOD condition. [++] I cannot find a thing on this publicationthere's nothing that I see on Google and the other appropriate searches, and also there are no entries for in any libraries according to WorldCat. I believe the author sent a copy to the LC, and that may have been about the extent of its distribution. I also cannot find the title under what may or may not be the copyright number that was given it. There is no shadow for it that I can find.
