Condition: Very Good. Stockholm, hos P. A. Norstedt & Söner, 1829. 8:o. (2),+ 76 s. Häftad och oskuren, med pappersryggremsa. Första upplagan trycktes 1791 hos Anders Zetterberg. Carl Fredric Scheffer (1715-1786), diplomat, riksråd. Engagerad i ekonomiska frågor intog han fysiokratismens ståndpunkter gentemot den förhärskande merkantilismen. Hans presidietal (2:a kvartalet 1755) var en hyllning till Gustav III, som just efterträtt Adolf Fredrik. Invald i KVA 1753. Anders Schönberg (1737-1811), rikshistoriograf 1761 och riksheraldiker 1773. Han var djupt engegerad i svensk politik och anses ha formulerat 1766 års tryckfrihetslag och gett impulser till flera viktiga konstitutionella reformer. Av hans författarskap, som spände sig från nationalekonomiska och politiska till filosofiska och historiska skrifter, är det ?Historiska bref om svenska regeringssättet?, 1777-78, som haft störst betydelse.
