The blank dedication page preceding the title page features a halftone portrait of Schemm and blank red-dotted lines to be filled in -- this example being sent from "Mrs. Charles P. Kopp" (likely related to the book's reviser E.A. Kopp) to "Mrs. John G. Leitenberger. / August 1st, 1911.".
