Der Band wurde von den Freunden Schicks herausgegeben, der 1909 schon im Alter von 32 Jahren verstorben war. "Schick war Feuilletonist, Kritiker, Autor, zusammen mit Robert Musil, Gustav Donath, Franz Schanau gehörte er zu den führenden literarischen Figuren der Mährischen Moderne in Brünn." (Fischer, Hörner: Lied und populäre Kultur 57 (2012). Mit zahlreichen Zeichnungen im Text und 8 auf Karton montierten Zeichnungen. Inhalt: Eugen Schick von Karl Hans Strobl - Übertragungen nach Aristide Bruant (13 Lieder) - Verzeichnis der Subskribenten. Der Einband ist berieben und etwas fingerfleckig, an den Kapitalen bestoßen, größerer Knick am unteren Eck vorn, kleiner hinten; das montierte Titelbild ist verschmutzt.
