First Edition
Soft Cover. No Jacket. 1st Edition. Sheet Music is a generous 9" X 12" unsoiled. The copyright is dated 1933. 1st edition, The four sheets of music and words are all present.Light rub , wear, GOOD + CONDITION, AS-IS .Featured by Eddie Cantor .Alice appears to be a healthy young lady. maturing nicely and finely developed features. She is also wearing spiked heels, a rather unusual style of footwear for a preteen in 1933. Sufficiently attractive, ALICE has further emphasized her charms with the neat application of rouge and a bit of lipstick! Probably this drawing comports with the late Lewis Carroll's vision of the young ALICE in his mind's eye.The mushroom at her feet is about as phallic as it gets on sheet music and certainly the Mad Hatter and March Hare seem to be engaged in heated reparte. From the expression on the face of the Hatter, who seems to have been drinking something stronger than tea, one can only wonder abou.
