Missing the dust jacket, other wise in very good/near fine condition. Binding is firm and fully intact; bottom corners gently turned in, else only mild shelfwear to edges of green cloth boards; three pencil-point size gray dots on rear board, small light black smudge on front board; gilt titling on spine remains bright and bold; prior owner inscription (dated Jan. 1945) on front end page, small notation on blank verso of pg. 91, else text remains free of markings. A very presentable copy of this classic study, "Based on Lectures delivered under the auspices of the Institute at Trinity College, Dublin, in February, 1943".
