"You and Music" was written by Christian Darnton, a distinguished English composer of classical music. Here is an excerpt from the rear cover blurb: "Christian Darnton's compositions include concertos for piano, viola, and harp, chamber music and several works for large orchestra. All of these works have been performed in Europe and America. His "Five Pieces for Orchestra" were among the three works chosen to represent England at the Festival of the International Society for Contemporary Music in Poland in 1939. His "Stalingrad Overture", performed at the Royal Albert Hall in London of March 1943, was broadcast [by BBC] in December of that year.
