Bloxam as a reward of merit. Augt. 1866." A rare anonymous textbook located at the BL and Edinburgh University only. The Rev. Andrew Bloxam [1801 - 87] was a clergyman and naturalist with a particular interest in botany, who made significant contributions to the study of natural history in Leicestershire and Warwickshire where he held various clerical posts. …
