hardback. Condition: Poor. No Jacket. hardback, demy quarto, 10 1/8" x 9 1/4", pictorial green cloth lettered gilt and black. Rubbed at the head of the spine. Front hinge strengthened, rear hinge cracked and the text block broken at about the halfway point. Dated signature of a previous owner on the half-title. Contains twenty three of twenty four full colour plates by Kronheim, one of which has a closed tear and two of which are loose and frayed at the edges.

hardback. Condition: Good. No Jacket. hardback, second edition, demy quarto, 10 1/8" x 9 1/4", pictorial brown cloth lettered gilt and black. Rubbed to the extremities and a 1" repaired split at the foot of the upper hinge. Extensive foxing, loss to the front free endpaper advertisement, previous owner name and address to the foot of the half-title, one page with a hot press crease causing a skewing of the leaf. Contains twenty twenty-four full colour plates by Kronheim, some of which lack the tissue guards.
