First published 1951, this second edition dated 1956 as shown on the copyright page. The book is bound in green cloth boards with the volume number and title lettered in gilt on the spine, along with the Royal Horticultural Society crest. The front cover carries the volume title in gilt lettering. Condition is graded Good. The covers show some surface marking and light scuffing, particularly visible on the rear board, along with faint scattered spotting to the front cover. The spine ends show a little wear. Corners are lightly bumped.…
