A book of the artist's concrete poetry, printed black on tissue paper. Each 'quandary' consists of two words connected by "or" - the first 499 are in English, and the next 499 are in French. The pairings conflate meaning and associations through alliteration, rhyme, half-rhyme and non-logical doublings.Condition: minor sunning line to back cover, otherwise fine. Overall near fine.

Seekers of Lice take their name from Arthur Rimbaud's early symbolist poem, Les Chercheuses de Poux (1871). Experimental poetry / fragmented text combining with pure colour - the book exudes completeness. Unpaginated, no edition size given (of course with the paintings which varied per book, each has a unique quality; the thoughtful making of the book suggesting not many, under 50, could have been made ?) Condition : slightest bump to bottom left cover corner, insignificant - near fine.
