The author presents legends related to him by local natives and pioneers and incorporates his knowledge of the customs and habits of the West Coast Indians of Vancouver Island, the Seshaht and Optchesaht tribes. 97 pages. Nice black and white illustrations. Prior owner's small blindstamp to title page, otherwise tight, square, clean and unmarked with gentle wear to illustrated chocolate brown covers.
