This appears to a high school yearbook that was the second one produced for Washington Park HS as it was built in 1929. This covers the usual items in a yearbook; faculty pictures, class pictures, sports teams, school clubs, activities, and memorable events. A clean very presentable copy.

Condition: Very Good. 160 p., on clean strong paper only very faintly age-toned and only markings are signatures next to photos and signature of former owner in "Ex Libris" box on pictorial front end page; sight rippling on first few pages but ink on signatures made by fountain pens is not smeared in the least; charming artwork and of course many photos; binding firm; black embossed boards with raised copper gilt lettering and seal on copper gilt patch have light bumping on corners and slight rubbing at crown and foot of spine.

Covers a bit rubbed along edges with four approximately ¼ inch nicks on side edges, approximately ¾ inch area on upper corner of front cover where it appears a small label was removed, bit of rust on staples, otherwise tight, clean, paper crisp, unmarked and apparently never read, with order blank for additional copies laid-in. Commemorative book in honor of the school's most famous alumni, Charles Lindbergh, and the reception and ceremonies marking his homecoming. Includes childhood and then modern photos of him, his house, pet dog, etc, and a particularly interesting one of his landing his plane in an open field there. Mild rubbing and edgewear to covers. Prior owner name in gilt lettering to bottom of front cover. Slight tearing and creasing to the top edges of one page where a paper clip was used as a bookmark. Typical of a high school yearbook, this copy is filled with student signatures and marginal inscriptions throughout.
