Hardcover. Condition: Very good condition. First Edition. [iv], 292 pages of text. Original green cloth binding is bright and fresh, with minor rubbing and shelfwear. Illustrated with 12 color plates including the frontis, and numerous illustrations in black & white. The text-block is splitting in a couple of places, remaining intact. This is the first American edition, issued in New York the year prior to the British edition. Size: Octavo (8vo). Book.
