Add to basketHardcover. Condition: Fine. Near Fine. First English edition, used here as a review copy by the American distributor (see below). Jacket by Peter Edwards. Page edges with just a bit of foxing else fine in a price-clipped (presumably as distributed in America), just about near fine dust jacket with light foxing on the topedge and… a small area of modest scuffing on the rear panel. A presentable copy. Review copy for American distribution with a Humanities Press (of New York) label laid down onto the front fly. The novel was actually published in the U.S. by Atheneum in 1970. The Ugandan playwright and political figure's only novel; the following year it was published by Heinemann in paperback as No. 54 in their African Writers Series.
