(titles) + 25 leaves with original drawings wth texts (nearly all mounted), one of these is handcoloured, the other drawings are tinted (brown, yellow, blue, or others), each drawing with legends (name of the place) and decorative descriptive and historical texts underneath (24 plates) starting with initial vignet holding a hand-painted caracter each one in a different colour, the first leave has exceptionally a large red painted initial (without vignet), each leave with protective thin paper, all 27 leaves bound by a thin leather band in a richly blindstamped & embossed decorative leather binding, incl. a representation of Mayan Sacred Calendar on the larger part of the frontcover, in the lower right corner of the frontcover the blindstamped inscription "M.MdeS. / Jul 20 1934". Fine collection of early 20th century original drawings of the convent of Churubusco in Mexico, in an splendid tipical embossed binding. Some of the drawings are signed "L. Servo 28". The vignets show "Huitzilopochili", and detailed views of the convent's exterior and interior; the beautifully handcoloured picturesque plate shows "Corredor, . el Patio principal .".Please notify before visiting to see a book.
