Hunting and travel around the USA and parts of Canada at the turn of the twentieth century with Ernest & Grace Thompson Seton, chronicled very readably by Grace. All manner of shooting, a small amount of fishing, occasional discursions into nature stories and much observation of local life. The reportage includes much on American & French Canadian frontiersmen and a great deal on the Thompson Setons' dealings with native Americans of various tribes. .
