Hardcover has black cloth-covered boards with red spine and cover lettering and Crime Club gunman logo. Top page edges are red. Deckle fore edges. Black and white illustrations. 333 pages. Binding loosening, but intact and undamaged. Hinges NOT cracked. Corners and spine ends bumped and rubbed, with some fraying at tips and spine ends. Covers have moderate edge wear and surface rubbing. Cloth along back edge of spine is split for about half the length of the spine but is still well attached at both ends. Covers lightly soiled, with a cup ring on the back cover. Roughened rectangle on the front endpaper most likely from a removed bookplate. Pages lightly and uniformly tanned but still supple. A few pages have a light tan spot or a smudge; some have a few small spots near the gutter. Five pages are dog eared. Dust jacket is missing. Carefully packed, shipped in a box.
