Unmarked except for initial and date - 1894 - to the dedication page. Bound in dark green cloth with gilt titles and elaborate gilt decoration. All edges gilt. Spine a little darkened. Tight binding, sound hinges. Small, attractive volume. Cloth Covered Boards. Condition: Good Minus. No Jacket. Front board clean with only light rubbing in places, small bump to reading edge, corners and spine ends very lightly bumped, tan coloured title box to spine with red border and black t creased and browned, spot stains to rear board, uncut closed edges, foxing to endpapers, ink inscription to fep, text on each page with red line border, text clear to read, gutters cracked but pp secure in binding. Size: 24mo.

Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. First edition, American issue printed from British sheets. Small octavo. Blue beveled cloth titled and decorated in gilt. Owner's signature and stamp on the titlepage, hinges professionally tightened, faint dampstains on the bottom page edges and a little on the rear board, a very good copy.
