4to (25.3x19.5cm), hardback, x + 111pp + full page illustrations. Good condition for age. Green with gilt & black decoration, bevelled edges. General wear, rubbed, bumped, frayed spine edges, page edges age-toned, endpapers discoloured, bookseller's label at front pastedown, hinges cracked- less so at front, stitching occasionally a little loose- plate between pp32/3 attached at upper edge but loose at lower section. Some foxing. With Notes for Teachers at rear. Pictures available on request.
