Black and white illustrations at chapter heads and last pages. Following text is a "Scrapbook," a selection of maps and photographs from the author's personal file and other sources." Minimal scuffs on edges at head and tail of board spine. Age-toning to external page edges and text pages, else internally clean. Text block is snug. Dust jacket is scuffed overall, spine is sunned. Upper edge at head of jacket spine has loss from several chips and rubs, along with several adjacent closed tears, creases and rubs on the upper edge of the back panel. Lower edge at tail of jacket spine is creased and chipped to a lesser crease; adjacent lower edge of the back jacket panel is also creased and chipped. Fore-edge folds are creased and scuffed and with a small rub-through on the back fold. Fore-edge corners are rubbed. Price of $3.00 is intact. Tan decorative paper covered boards; light brown cloth on spine with gilt-stamped lettering. Horizontal crease at head of board spine; corners at head and tail of board spine are scuffed and with barest of fraying. Each two-page Noble Thought begins with a brown-tone Rockwell Kent illustration. Internally clean and with snug text block. Dust jacket is scuffed and lightly soiled overall. Edges at head and tail of jacket spine are chipped and rubbed but with minimal loss. Fore-edge corners are rubbed. Inside flaps are not clipped. No price is shown.
