Add to basketHardcover. Condition: Poor. Dust Jacket Condition: Poor. 1st Edition. 175 pages, illustrated, the autobiography of a leading Australian Test batsman, Sid Barnes, who was prominent in the game in the years immediately after WWII. He was a member of the Invincibles, the Australian touring team of 1948 which took England by storm. Barnes was often a controversial figure. Book in poor condition though perfectly readable: fading around edges of covers which also show wear; light marks and some light foxing at end papers; some foxing also on pages close to the end papers; three instances of pages being stuck together at production and evidence of their being cut by a previous owner; foxing marks on outside edges of text block. Jacket torn and nicked with some losses, marked and creased, thus very poor.
