Spine is much faded (all the way to gray), with titles in gold. 90 pages plus limitation page and blanks. Frontispiece portrait of Emerson with tissue paper guard. Binding tight and pages clean. A few pencil…notations on the front endpaper from a bookseller. On the first blank page there is a 4 line inscription in pen, signed by Richard Ellis and dated January 1940. A limited edition of 1100 copies. Signed on the limitation page by Richard Ellis, who planned the edition. Beneath his signature there is a long note in his hand (8 lines) about the printing of this book. Please email for a photo (his handwriting is hard to read). The book measures 7 x 10.5 inches. Signed by Author(s).
