A few pencil notations on the front endpaper from a bookseller. On the first blank page there is a 4 line inscription in pen, signed by Richard Ellis and dated January 1940. A limited edition of 1100 copies. Signed on the limitation page by Richard Ellis, who planned the edition. Beneath his signature there is a long note in his hand (8 lines) about the printing of this book. Please email for a photo (his handwriting is hard to read). The book measures 7 x 10.5 inches.
