Illustrated by Lucie Lacoste cover, photographs and great period ads. First edition. Pale green stapled newspaper printed and decorated cover. 4to (35cm). pp. 42. Fair to Good. Cover and page repairs with acid free archival tape; front cover dulled with unrepaired larger rear chips. Internally overall toning to pages, missing most of page 23-4. American weekly entertainment-trade magazine since December 16, 1905 issue. Founded by Sime Silverman in New York City, an Hollywood-Broadway edition extended to Los Angeles in 1933 as the Daily Variety. Daily Variety Gotham was added in 1998 as well as a website and all run to this day.
