Einband berieben, bestoßen und etwas fleckig; kleiner Einkleber auf dem Innendeckel; fliegendes Vorsatzblatt, Schmutz- und…Titelblatt gestempelt; durchgehender alter Wasserfleck/-rand oben innen - weiter hinten sich etwas nach unten ausbreitend, schwach auf den Textblättern, deutlicher und dunkler auf den Tafeln (wegen des unterschiedlichen Papiers - aber keine aktuelle Schimmelbildung); einige Tafeln leicht bis mäßig randbeschädigt; manche Lagen gelockert / ungleichmäßig eingebunden; insgesamt ist dieses epochemachendes Werk trotz der beschriebenen Schäden allein durch seine imposante Größe und die Fülle der Tafeln als Beleg-Exemplar wohl geeignet.
