Hardcover. Profusely illustrated. (illustrator). 1st edition. GOOD-VG books. With Russell Sturgis descriptions. Spines gilt lettering darkened. Bottom edges scuffed. 11.5"x8", 655pp. Plates collated. Newspaper page marker has browned a small portion of page 518, vol 2. With this exception, contents as bright & white as new. This includes the pastedowns. Clean text block edges. Not the slightest bit of aging, foxing, soiling, marginalia, etc. No loose leaves or sprung signatures. GOOD-Very Good books. 1st ed. Tight, FINE inside. A nice set.
