Folio. Condition: Good. Dust Jacket Condition: Folio. 1st Edition. Large folio with green cloth on boards and black cloth to spine. Black lettering and decoration to front board. Securing tapes are damaged/missing. A series of reproductions from the National Art Survey drawings, published by a joint committee of the board of trustees for the National Galleries of Scotland and the Institute of Scottish Architects. Volume II includes Plans and views of Lincluden College Church, Kirkcudbrightshire; Caerlaverlock Castle, Dumfrieshire; Cambuskenneth Abbey, Stirlingshire; Bonhard House, Linlithgowshire; Pilrig House, Edinburgh (Leith); Borthwidk House, Midlothian; St. Monan's Church, Fifeshire; Crossragruel Abbey, Ayrshire; Aberdour Church, Fifeshire; Cowrie House,Perth and Collegiate Church of Dunglass, East Lothian. Plates 11,12 and 16 (Lincluden College) have closed tears and creasing to the right hand edges, which encroach slightly into the illustrations. Otherwise, all pages of text and plates are present and in good order. A very heavy item, which will incur extra carriage charges for non UK customers.
