Minimal sun fading to the cover edges, foxing and dust marking to the closed page edges, feint foxing to the first and last few pages and some margins. Very Good clean condition book in Very Good condition dust wrapper with light rubs, creases and chips to the cover edges, closed tears to the front cover corners, not price clipped 10'6. Ink annotations to List of Portraits indicating killed, prisoners of war, missing, or off flying due to injuries. Pencil annotations to portrait margins with rank, decorations, occasional 'shot down' and if 'bought it' or 'missing'. Fascinating historical document. Blue and beige cloth boards with white lettering to spine. Boards are marked and generally grubby. Corners are bumped. Top right corner of rear board is bent. Slight wear to board edges. Spine has mild bumping to top and bottom. Endpages are a little grubby. Front inner hinge is starting to crack. Rear inner hinge is starting to crack. Textblock is just starting to give. Textblock has one or two grubby marks but is generally clean. 96 pp. 64 b/w illustrations. Beige paper dust jacket with yellow lettering to front. DJ is rather tatty, with quite a bit of loss. Spine area is missing. Rather grubby. Not priceclipped. When securely packed this item will weigh in the region of 613g.
