Also included are a special 7'' single containing two blues tracks from The Typewriter Tape recorded in 1964 by Janis Joplin and Jorma Kaukonen, exclusively presented here as a vinyl single, and a 10'' x 8'' art print by signed by Grace Slick (exclusive to the deluxe issue). Housed in navy buckram solander box with titles and decorations to the upper board in blue foil and gilt, and drawstring bag. A fine copy. Numbered 31 of 350 deluxe copies, signed to the limitation page page by Peter Albin, Dave Getz, Jorma Kaukonen, Laura Joplin and Michael Joplin and estate-stamped with Janis's signature. The first 350 were bound in vegan leather as the 'Deluxe Edition', the remaining 1,650 were bound in cloth and issued without the signed art print, as the 'Collector's Edition'. Joplin's personal scrapbook documenting 60s counterculture and her rise to stardom alongside her own annotations is published here for the first time, beautifully bound and presented. The De Luxe signed edition sold out at Genesis and is now hard to find. Fine. In original packing box. Signedes.
