Hardcover. 20 full page b/w plates. (illustrator). Early ed. GOOD book. Half leather. Boards & text block edges identically marbled. Tight. Both hinges perfect. FINE text & plates. Five raised ribs. Four panels gilt decorated, with MOST of gilt faded away. Hablot K. Brown (Phiz) did the ilustrations. Plates collated complete. FLAWS: Book cover extrems scuffed. FEP with inked name. Frontis, tp and plate on p319 lightly foxed. No other flaws. ALSO: very tight, book stays closed when stood on its spine. GOOD book. Half black leather. Early edition. 472pp.
